The ointment is thinly applied and spread in the regularly affected areas of the external intimate region. A pea-sized amount is sufficient for either the front or back intimate area, for example. The ointment can be used 1 – 2 times daily, or more often if needed. In particular, it is recommended to apply:
- AFTER washing
- AFTER using toilet paper
- around the anus BEFORE and AFTER bowel movements
- BEFORE engaging in sports activities.
Vagisan Protective Ointment can also be used in the external intimate area during menstruation.
