Yes. Men also enjoy its pleasant freshness and gentle cleansing.

Vagisan Intimate Wash Lotion is generally very well tolerated. However, we cannot rule out the possibility of adverse reactions in isolated cases. In order to determine whether you can tolerate Vagisan Intimate Wash Lotion, you must test the product. Naturally, you should not use the product if you have a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Compare the ingredients of Vagisan Intimate Wash Lotion with your list of allergies.

Use like a shower gel. First moisten the external intimate area, apply a peanut-sized amount of the wash lotion, distribute it and then rinse thoroughly. You can dispense Vagisan Intimate Wash Lotion directly into your hand or onto a wet disposable wipe. If using cotton flannels, these should be regularly washed in hot water (60°C) – with a yeast infection, however, use one time only and then wash.

No. Vaginal douching is inadvisable in principle, as it can disturb the vaginal flora and thus weaken the body’s natural defences against infection. Vagisan Intimate Wash Lotion is intended for external use only.

No. It is a wash lotion which must always be rinsed off after it is applied.

Yes. It is a mild and very well tolerated wash lotion.

No. Whilst studies show that the pH of the skin (in the external intimate area as well) is about 5 in younger women and increases with age, a higher pH value reduces the skin's ability to fight bacteria. Therefore, skin cleansing and skin care products (also for the external intimate area) – for younger and for older individuals – should have a pH of around 5 (not higher) to prevent alkalising the skin and to maintain its natural acid mantle.

There are many different causes for recurrent vaginal yeast infections. Vagisan Intimate Wash Lotion alone cannot prevent yeast infections. But since one of the possible factors that serves to promote vaginal yeast infections is improper intimate hygiene, the regular use of Vagisan Intimate Wash Lotion can support your body’s natural defences. Many users report that they develop yeast infections less frequently since using Vagisan Intimate Wash Lotion.

A usage study was carried out for this health care product. Vagisan Intimate Wash Lotion was predominantly rated good or very good by the testers with respect to tolerance and product characteristics.
